For a fur coat with salmon, you can prepare vegetables in the same way as for the traditional "herring under a fur coat". Boil the potatoes, carrots and beets, and simply peel off the "watery" vegetables. Components can be cut with a knife into small cubes, but it is better to grate.

Fish should be boned and finely chopped. Best of all, it was salted fish. You can buy a ready-made fillet, as well as a whole fish and prepare it yourself. To do this, cut off the tail and the head, gut and, spitting the spine with a knife, remove it together with the bones. Those bones that do not come out, select with your hands. Then remove the skin and add salt to the fillet. Place the fish in the fridge for an hour, then rinse salt afterwards and cut the fish.

Recipe 1: Salad fur coat with salmon traditional

If you study the recipe of this salad, you will find a lot in common with the well-known herring under a fur coat. You will need potatoes, carrots, eggs, pickled onions. The dish, meanwhile, will turn out much tastier and more interesting.

Ingredients Required:

  • Fillet of salted salmon - 310 gr.
  • Carrots - 2 pcs.
  • Potatoes - 2 pcs.
  • Egg - 3 pcs.
  • Bulb onion - 1 pc.
  • Vinegar 1 tbsp. + 1 tsp sugar (for marinade)
  • Yoghurt 3 tbsp. (natural and savory) + sour cream 2 tbsp. + soy sauce 1 tbsp. (for sauce)

Cooking method:

  1. Peel and chop the onion. Mix the vinegar with the sugar, add water and pickle the onion in the mixture, leaving it for 10 minutes.
  2. Put boiled carrots and potatoes. Then cool, peel off and rub on a fine grater. Put the potatoes on a wide plate as the first layer.
  3. Prepare the sauce - mix yogurt, sour cream and soy sauce. Grease the potatoes.
  4. Egg boiled hard boiled. Clean, remove the yolks and rub separately. The second layer of lettuce is protein. Brush with sauce.
  5. The third layer is fish. It must be cut into large cubes. Spread the dressing and place the pickled onions on top. The salad will look more interesting if you mix half the usual onions and half the purple salad.
  6. Put the carrot on the onion, brush it with the remaining sauce.
  7. The last layer is shredded yolk. Put the salad in the fridge to infuse for 2-4 hours.

In fact, it is not known whether the Spaniards eat such a “fur coat”, but this dish is so called here because one of the ingredients is the avocado beloved by the Spaniards. This coat is much easier than a salad with potatoes, and, perhaps, tastier.

  • Mayonnaise - 1 tbsp.
  • Walnut "Pecan" - 55 gr.

Cooking method:

  1. Prepare the sauce for the "fur coat" - mix pecan, yogurt and mayonnaise in a blender.
  2. Boil a hard-boiled egg, peel and, after separating the whites and yolks, grate. The first layer of lettuce is egg white. Grease it with sauce.

  • Avocado - 1 pc.
  • Cheese "Parmesan" - 130 gr.
