ATMs have appeared in Japan where you can withdraw money without a credit card, for this you just need to put your hand on the reader, dial a PIN code and collect the cash issued. Representatives of the bank Ogaki Koritsu informed the world community about a unique event in the world of the financial industry.

To be able to use the new ATMs, the Japanese need to visit a financial institution and write an application for the provision of this service. After registering with a credit institution, her client can freely receive money using her own biometric data.

In order to transfer funds to a personal bank account or withdraw them, the Japanese need to put a palm on the reader, provide his date of birth and a PIN code previously issued at the bank.

Currently, ATMs with the ability to read biometric indicators are installed in the Ogaki Koritsu branches in Gifu Prefecture, however, in the near future, the same devices will appear in Mie, Aichi, and Shiga Prefectures. ATMs can be used not only in the offices of Ogaki Koritsu, but also in mobile offices.

The value of the new technology lies in the fact that it will allow the people of Japan to save their money in any conditions, even if the country is again overwhelmed by natural disasters, and bank cards and documents are lost. The biometric data recognition system has long been used to create additional security conditions when it comes to financial means.
